Brandon Allen

Athlete of the Month - December 2025

A little bit about Brandon:

He has been attending CS&F since the summer of 2016.

He has 3 kids and Marty has 3 kids... So during the holidays, their driveway looks like a used car lot. He truly loves their blended family. For work, he is in technology sales. He grew up in Alpharetta and went to Milton. He played football, basketball, and baseball while there, and then played baseball at the College of Charleston. As a father of 3, his interests align with his kids - so he just enjoys supporting them however he can.

Before CS&F, he was working out - typically doing standard stuff that he learned during his college days after having a really good strength and conditioning coach. He did a lot of running while also playing in men's league basketball and softball.

Favorite Workout:  DT and Chief. Anything that cycles the barbell during the workout is fun for him.

Least Favorite Workout:  He doesn't know if he really has a least favorite... but certainly his mobility on overhead squats or too much running is something he feels the next day.

Favorite Movement: He likes movements that let you really move some weight... Bench, Cleans, Squats. He's pretty old school.

Least Favorite Movement: Overhead Squats.

Favorite Music to Workout To: Something that has a higher BPM. Definitely enjoys music.

Favorite Cheat Meal: Well, at 250 lbs, it could be argued that every meal is a cheat meal... But if he had to pick - wings and pizza.

Goals when Joining CS&F: Truly he was looking for a place where he could continue to show up and workout. What he did not expect was to find a community of just great people. He has been fortunate with his schedule to attend every different class time that is offered and each is unique, but they all have really great people. So, he has definitely achieved and exceeded his expectations and goals from that standpoint.

Special CS&F Memory: He would say the community events - competitions that type of thing. He was able to do a few competitions with Mark Howard, Justin Sandersine, and Patrick Kindregen, and they had a great time.

Advice to a New CS&F Member: Be full of grace and leave your ego at the door. Your journey is yours - no need to compare yourself to other athletes. Give yourself time to learn and adapt. Listen to your coaches and your body. Lastly, find a way to be consistent. If you will be patient and consistent, you will absolutely achieve everything that you want.
